Comfortable and adaptable to individual needs

My brother had coronary angina and his whole right side was affected. He had a limp leg and the physical therapist recommended getting one. I was scrolling through the products and came across this one. We were able to tailor it to his foot using corrugated plastic. The seat belts are padded and adjustable for different sizes. It helped my brother a lot. As a registered nurse, I wanted something that could change my brother's life. It definitely helped him.

VERSUS A CUSTOM MADE

I ordered this for my sister who has a very sagging left leg due to a stroke. She had an AFO suit tailored, which actually cost $1,800, which she was never comfortable wearing, and had recently developed blisters on her ankles. I saw this on Amazon and it's very similar to what they had but with a lightweight design. Long story short, I bought this yesterday and it worked better than the $1800 one. I had to cut about an inch off the end of the sock but everything else fitted perfectly. My…

I have to wear two pairs of socks because of some piece of plastic, but I don't think it's a design flaw, more an issue with my crippled foot. I could take a dremel and cut the plastic but that's fine so I probably won't do it. Reviewers complained that the wraparound pieces didn't fit their boots etc etc etc. Well just don't use them. not me. I only use…

Apply it in small doses until you get used to it.

I am partially paralyzed in both legs below the knees and my left foot is hanging. I have a brace that was given to me in the hospital for a sagging foot seven years ago and I also have another shorter and lighter brace that I got about three years ago. These two brackets are "friends". The hospital bandage is firm and about 0.2 inch thick, while the newer bandage is the same but with holes cut in the back. Wearing this orthosis for the first time brought incredible relief and a feeling of…
