Works great for the price!

I have been using IASTM tools for several years, mainly Falcon and Graston tools and I really like this tool. It's not as heavy as the previously mentioned tools and isn't as beveled, which can be helpful for beginners or more sensitive areas. I actually use it a lot in the clinic, and while it's not as good as, say, a Hawkgrips multi-tool, it works well for a $20 massager.

Pros
  • Massage Tools and Equipment
Cons
  • Very Expensive

A great amateur instrument at a very reasonable price.

Pretty decent scraping tool. It's long enough to cover the entire quadriceps or hamstring area. I would like to make it a little heavier but for the price and when only used on itself it works very well! I have been a massage therapist for 20 years and have found Gua Sha/Graston techniques to be very helpful for scar tissue, iliotibial tension, forearm overuse and so on!

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

High quality and inexpensive!

I am a Physical Therapist Assistant (11 years old) who had knee replacement surgery 2 months ago. I am an outpatient and use the expensive Rock Blades instrument set IASTM (Instrumented Soft Tissue Mobilization). This $10 gouache tool has the right surface and contour to break up the myofascial restrictions (knots) of the quadriceps and calf muscles, as well as break up (healed) scar tissue keloids along with several smaller areas of the body. Maybe for cross fingers. This was very helpful in…

Pros
  • Back massagers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
