These boxes are not of very good quality. They are difficult to open without creating a crease on the side of the box. The tops are not hammered properly and are very difficult to put together properly. The material is too thin to be used for anything other than short-term storage. Having worked in the corrugated industry for 25 years, I know a thing or two about box quality and production.

I've tried quite a few fake Bankers boxes and nothing beats the real thing. They are the strongest and can carry the most weight, and they are well worth the price. The box itself opens easily and requires very little effort to assemble the lid. There are latches on the lid that "lock" the box, which is very convenient when you use it to move. They stack easily without taking damage, even when crammed with heavy items.

Lower parts are the quickest to assemble. However, the top often folds incorrectly or the sides fold where they shouldn't. This makes assembly of the upper parts more difficult compared to the lower parts. If you just want the bottom of the storage box these are perfect! If you need both and have NO experience assembling bank drawer lids then look elsewhere. If you have experience in assembling tops, you will figure it out, despite a minor inconvenience.

I don't know what happened but I bought the same boxes in mid November and they are stronger, easier to assemble and the tops are stronger than the ones I received last Friday. The new ones have thinner walls and floors. The tips are flat and thin. You need to partially separate the two sides of the box and the perforation line where you separate the sides is a little torn. I hesitate to pack fragile items in new boxes. I would return them but the container is so heavy that opening the box…

I like them because they look good. They were pretty easy to fold, but then again, I'm the kind of person who uses box folding for their business anyway. Pretty easy to put together. They're strong, but I don't think they're super strong. I wish they were a little thicker. They are still very good boxes. They fold nice and neat. I could put books there, or I could put some metal objects there. But I didn't feel like I could wrap it up as securely as I wanted. I would buy them in the future but…

New floors are being laid in my basement which means every two book filled walls in bookshelves need to be removed, folded and then brought back and reattached to the shelves. I'll be happy when the new floors are ready and we can sit and relax, but until then it's a lot of work. Would give 5 stars based on the quality of these boxes but would only give 4 because the last set I received was missing two lids, what makes them two . Boxes are useless.
