Type of review

I recently tried the medium embroidery hoop from Simplicity and I am thoroughly impressed! As a result of using this product, I found that my embroidery work looked neater and more professional. The hoop held the fabric taut and made stitching much easier. The only downside is that the tension can be a bit difficult to adjust. Overall, I strongly recommend this hoop to anyone who loves embroidery!

Pros
  • Holds fabric taut, makes stitching easier
Cons
  • Tension can be difficult to adjust

does not fit properly in Pe500 machine

This is unbalanced or something. The tire does not seat properly in the Brother pe500 which given the rave reviews is EXTREMELY disappointing. I will try to return this for a refund.

Pros
  • Embroidery area 4.25" x 4.25"
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

Works great and best price I could find

I recently inherited an old embroidery machine and it didn't come with a hoop. I could easily find the tire I needed on Revain and it was the best price for it. It arrived quickly and fits my PE150 perfectly. It looks very well made, sturdy and not flexible at all.

Pros
  • Includes transparent grid for precise alignment
Cons
  • Some small things
