Perfect for water bottle rockets!

These caps were PERFECT for the water bottle rockets we built from regular water bottles. We made a lot for my daughter's birthday party and everyone loved it.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Too fragile - home brewing and winemaking

I put a few on and tried to pry them out with a corkscrew. Each cork popped, and there was a chance some pieces would have ended up in the wine's contents if the bottle had been filled. Now I'm thinking about using synthetic corks.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Largely ok, but...

Like little wooden pebbles

Bought for a boy scout project. They're very hard and dried out, which means they're very difficult to bottle, and because they don't shrink or expand, they don't seal well. They might be fine as decoration, but they're good for nothing else.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • boring packaging

save wine? Keep your sanity

Bursting traffic jams? You can not log in? This is probably because wine bottles have been stored upright for too long (at the retailer, in the shop and on the way to you in the mail). Wine bottles should be held on their sides to prevent the corks from drying out and breaking. These replacement plugs are convenient and work well. I wish I knew about them sooner.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Pensioner

Works for me on Bottling & Corking

What can I say? Those are corks and clog bottles. I am happy with my purchase. I make my own salad dressings and cork bottles. I washed them after use and didn't notice any stains or odors. I also like not to buy an "assortment" of corks that are typically 60% too small for any use I can think of.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Great for crafts I've made.

They were perfect for what I needed. I made birdhouses by placing bird seed in an empty Dasani bottle and sealing the bottle with a stopper so the food doesn't spill out when I turn the bottle upside down. Once the bottle was in the holder, I removed the stopper and filled a small bowl with some birdseed until the food was level with the hole in the bottle. So when the birds eat, the seed refills the small bowl.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Useless features

Less than expected quality

I have ordered these corks 3 times now and each time the quality has gotten worse. Corks are often cracked or have deep holes and scars. I use them to make decorative bottle caps and many of the caps are useless because they look awful. I kept hoping it was just an accident, but the third time wasn't magic. They may only be good for capping a bottle, but they don't make a good, strong, smooth cork like I expected.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
