Wonderful things! I use them on the teeth/gums of my poor greyhounds who are in bad shape and bleed quite easily. 250 seems like a lot, but I'm surprised myself at how quickly I can get away with it. The sponges have a wavy pattern on the front and back that provides enough cleaning action to remove plaque. I know some people use them for their older charges or for those who cannot take care of their own hygiene. Good product!

Hard plastic protrusion in the foam You must be very careful when cleaning your mouth. I've bought these before and they haven't. I only opened the box because I used what I already had. It's too late to return.

The glue that attaches the sponge to the rod is unusually HUGE and makes the tampon hard with a very small sponge tip. Ouch! What happened? Couldn't send back as it was a backup box. I will try another brand.

I have been using this product for two years. However, in this last box, the sponge came off twice in my son's mouth. This is very dangerous because he has trouble walking and swallowing while recovering from his head injury. Always check the sponge attachment before use. Perhaps the company needs better control.

I have been buying these for four years to take care of my disabled daughter's oral health. Tampons used to be bigger and softer and I had no complaints. We have been buying them for several years and we pay more than other options for the best quality. The last box arrived with a new design (with a pair lighter and a different box size) and unfortunately very poor quality tampons. Tampons sit too low on the handle and the top tip of the handle easily reaches the top of the sponge with minimal compression of the sponge itself.
