Ergonomic grip on hands really helps with my carpal tunnel symptoms when doing detailed paint by number projects. The brush bristles apply paint easily and are easy to clean. The small brushes I use most often don't last either. I have to replace them long before the big brushes in the set. It would be very interesting to buy separate brushes with the same ergonomic design.

As a professional painter these brushes are great for small to medium detail. I use them specifically for oil paints. In my personal experience, these brushes crumple and fall apart within the first five uses. To take good care of these brushes, wash them with soapy water after each use. I recommend these brushes if you are a beginner or if you are a professional artist who brushes get damaged quite easily, they are good value for money.

I have to say these are the highest quality micro brushes I have ever had. And - I've had some really expensive brushes that break after a short time! They're easy to hold and allow me to do small details like I've shown above. Among other things, I draw beach stones and this allows me to draw small details. I ordered them to finish a painting that I messed up because I needed thin detailed line brushes on this ship. The first thing I noticed was that they were slippery so I solved that problem by putting tape on the wide grip area and that problem was gone! My hands are always dry so the slippery surface was just that! Once I wrapped the ribbon around them I found some wide rubber bands and added them to the top of the band and now I can hold them much better! All in all I love these fine tip…

When I first used one of the brushes to touch up my paint, I noticed something like hair loss in my paint. I used a regular paper towel to press the end of the brush between them to get rid of any stray bristles and most of the bristles came out - very first use, with water based paint! Very disappointed - and a waste of time, money and sheet of paper I've worked everywhere with hairlines falling out. Buy something else - even worse than disposable brushes - at least disposable only works once!

I bought random sets of mini brushes to see what they had. I wasn't expecting them to be like Sable 20/0 or anything but this particular set is really bad.
