My son just turned 9 and loved him! He's a big fan of Pokémon and Lego, so this is the best combination for him. He likes mega builds because Lego doesn't make Pokémon sets.

These are great gifts that you will love to collect with your 5-year-old grandson. It's too hard for him to take care of himself, but it's a very good activity to work with. The price is too high, that's the only downside

My grandson liked it, but when I put it together for the first time one of the parts broke. We taped it back but now it doesn't work properly. (he had a top that doesn't spin now)

My son was thrilled to have some Alolan starters for his collection. These blocks (unlike some other LEGO brands we've tried) fit together really well. That means they stay together, don't break up easily, and don't upset kids when they're together.

These are high quality building sets that are compatible with Lego and most other fakes. Some small parts can be difficult for little fingers to put together, but in general they are easy to put together. Pokémon first attracted me to my son, but Mega Construx has a huge selection of building sets, many of which are for adults. I look forward to buying some for myself.

In general I am satisfied. The stone base seems strange to me and a bit small/uncomfortable for Popplio. The "action button" doesn't work very well, so if that's the main use for you or your kids, you're likely to get frustrated or lose interest quickly. The rest of the build is great. The document looks like a document. The palm tree looks like a palm tree. Water is like water. Most importantly, Popplio and Litten are very cute!
