I'm sure this will work for some cars but it didn't have an adapter for my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Don't buy if you have a Jeep.

Antenna description says it's for 2013 Outlander but it's not. The screw fits but I'm assuming it's standard gauge but it doesn't go all the way in and the antenna is left floating.

I bought these for my '99 speedo but the long OEM antenna worked better. At first I was able to get a signal with my old antenna in the mountainous area where I live. With this antenna, there are now more areas without a signal. I know it's actually an antenna because my other car has no problem either.

Cannot attach it to my 4runner - the system said my car was compatible but there was nothing in the kit to hold the antenna to the car. It has some small screws but I needed something to attach under the silver ring so it could be attached to my car. It was a waste of my money.

If you are near a big city, do it. If you are a bit out of town you will lose range/reception quality. Not much, but in my case enough to lose a few of the 5 stations I normally get. The device looks good and does not interfere with the factory antenna. BUT, that leads to a 10% loss of reception, at least for me! TimC

Reception is generally decent, but on some stations I can tell the sound quality is poor (ie weak static). It works for several stations that I listen to. However, the once black finish has worn away (auto wash?) and has revealed bronze/gold colored metal. It doesn't look terrible, but it's definitely better in black. A car wash is the only thing I can think of that could do this (hence only two stars for "style"). So avoid them or remove them before going through one if you want to keep the…
