i wanted this for loose drill bits they keep them in one place next to the drill and not in the whole working area of the drill feels very solid and i hope this does works for a long time.

I bought this to store bits and tips for my cordless drill which I use almost every day. There is no top or bottom, so the items in the box will get confused if you turn it upside down. Made of hard plastic, so I'm a little doubtful it'll survive the first drop onto a concrete floor.

The case is well made and very functional. Permanent separators separate different articles. I use it to store drill bits and screws. I wish the manufacturer would put a permanent mark on which side is up. Not just a sticker. As a solution, I marked the word UP with a permanent marker.

I bought some Makita 1/4 quick change hex bits like Philips, square, etc. They don't fit in my other DeWalt/Makita/Milwaukee/Bosch cases. Thought I'd give this case a try and maybe just leave the long pieces here. It is true that others are reporting the up/down issue as well as the slide lock. The lock is weak, if you throw it in the reel it will break. If it survives, you'll have to open it from the top (they put a "TOP" sticker on it, but still write your name on it) or your pieces will fall

I have a few different brands and they all have dividers, even if you take them out the little protrusions still get in the way. This is amazing because the path doesn't contain any separators or tabs. It might not be a problem for some, but I'm a bit too picky, so I'm glad I stumbled across them.
