What a great lens for the price!

I was embarrassed to focus manually all the time. At f1.7 it's very interesting to see what shots you can get. This lens changed my shooting style.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Beast for $89! for camera lenses

The lens is absolutely worth the price, the lens is much better than the kit lens I got with my a6000 in terms of manual control and clarity. The colors are very natural and sharp. I took 4 photos with it, it captures even the faintest color deviations.

Pros
  • Confidence
Cons
  • Only available in black

Nothing special for camera lenses

Affordable. That's all. The connection isn't smooth, it feels like I'm grinding away metal every time I put this lens on. The picture quality was below average. It wasn't bad, but if you're looking for a sharp image, this lens just can't do it. As for the focus ring and build quality, they were actually fine. However, there is nothing to write home about. So I returned it to buy a vintage lens.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Modern

One of my favorite lenses!

At first I had doubts about this lens. But they were quickly crushed once I got my hands on this thing. This lens quickly became one of my favorite lenses. Full manual control is sometimes a pleasure. It feels very durable and the images I get with it come out great. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to tell if objects are in focus, so I'd suggest using focus peaking if your camera has it. Otherwise I can recommend the lens for the price without reservation! It's 100% worth it!

Pros
  • A little above
Cons
  • Minor problems

Good picture quality on Sony A6500

Reviews don't lie. This lens offers you excellent image quality and good bokeh. The focus ring is smooth, there's a metric on the aperture ring, and it's infinitely adjustable too. If you've never manually focused before, this will take some time. Remember that you need to program your camera's zoom button for fine detail. Because this is a fully manual mode, the zoom doesn't turn on automatically like it does with an automatic lens. Otherwise, this is a great lens for the price. Definitely…

Great budget E mount lens.

I started with 35mm film many years ago. RX1R. Maybe I'll sell some gears or do a trade-in. After seeing this lens. Read some reviews. I ordered it right away. It's very similar to the lenses I own from the 70's. The bezel without a cutout is quite neat. Bohken is really good. (see image) I'm sure this lens is technically very different from the NEX 7 and RX1R. I really like it and will be using it on the NEX-7 for a while.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Good lens for the price.

This lens really impresses me for its price. The packaging is surprisingly high quality, indistinguishable from any Sony or Canon lenses I've bought. The build quality of the lens is very good, the body is almost entirely metal, there is no play and play in the focus and aperture rings, they are well dampened. The glass is immaculate and I didn't even see a speck of dust inside the lens. The picture quality of the A6000 is excellent. At f1.7, the sharpness in the center is very good, maybe a…
