Heavy Duty Kitchen Utensils and Appliances

I would give 5 stars if the item didn't arrive with the spoon handle bent - this is minor and probably the result of poor packaging. Came in a thin cardboard envelope. Also the shape is perfect for my spice jars and I love the weight of the product and I'm really surprised that it bent due to the weight of the spoons.

I have doubts NOT SS

I was specifically looking for stainless steel but I don't know if I believe it. It's very heavy, so I'm assuming it's metal with a little stainless steel coating. UPDATE - THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT STAINLESS STEEL! They will corrode and rust after a short period of use (very low stress). Save your $$.

My set, don't touch! XD

I've told my kids not to touch my spoon set (they have two sets that were gifted to them in a cookie baking set a few years ago) and I've told my husband he can . Don't touch my set either. He has a plastic set that is now unreadable and a nice round stainless steel set that is missing many spoons. I wanted one to pop in my spice jars without spilling the spices all over the place and they do as advertised!

These measuring spoons are made of durable stainless steel and feel heavy in your hands

These measuring spoons are made of durable stainless steel and feel heavy in your hands. Not heavy but solid. The cups of the spoons are rectangular to fit in your spice jars. Measurements are true to size (I compared them to other scoops I have because I bake and wanted to make sure a tablespoon is a tablespoon). These are my favorite measuring spoons I've found so far.

A curved spoon on measuring instruments and scales

The 1 teaspoon (5 ml) spoon I received was slightly curved where the handle ends and the ladle begins; enough to make it inconvenient to measure the liquid. They are so strong that I cannot bend them in the usual way, such as applying force to the edge of a hard surface with my hand. Not worth returning them if they're only $8.99. I don't have the right size box either. I'll probably try to use friends press or whatever to fix this later. Also, if anyone is interested in the magnetic properties
