Our 4 year old grandson enjoyed coloring in these pre-cut shapes. Made as a gift to my parents. The magnets are already separated from the heart, butterfly or flower. The only reason I gave it a 4 overall and not a 5 is because the brushes are too flimsy and flimsy. Get your own thicker brush and it will be more successful for kids. A good product. I bought another pack from them. Also good!

This is a great activity for my baby. She is 2.2 years old. She draws and decorates Lowes. It's easy to make, very vibrant colors. They all need supplies. And looks great as a decoration on the fridge. Not to mention that having a toddler spend time doing an activity is a bonus. And that means more time for yourself. Our 2.5 year old spends an average of 1 hour painting and decorating them.

I liked the craft. My granddaughters (3 and 5 years old) enjoyed painting and decorating magnets as Mother's Day gifts. We have been careful with the dye as you are warned not to wash it off the fabric. The paint dries fairly quickly so they were soon able to use glitter glue to decorate and attach the little jewels. As a bonus, the materials came in three small wooden trays, which the girls also painted as part of the gift. The price wasn't cheap but I think the quality was worth it.

The wooden pieces have a fully magnetic backing (not very strong - doesn't hold anything but will stick to the fridge). It also includes four colors of paint, a brush and some gems.
