🎨 Enhancing Creativity and Fun with Melissa & Doug Deluxe Combo Scratch Review

My grandchildren - a 4 year old girl and a 7 year old boy - loved it and kept them busy for quite some time. A 7 year old took 3 difficult pictures in the time it took a 4 year old to do 1 if that helps to know. I plan to top them up before we go on family vacation with 5 kids under 8! ;-)

My daughter (4) got one of these smaller albums for Christmas. It was perfect for her. She liked it very much. We decided to buy this large set as a gift for my friends daughter (6 years old) because she loves art. I thought it was a great price for everything that comes with it. My daughter loved it and will definitely buy more.

Like most Melissa and Doug products, this is a good product for non-tech kids. I think it would be good for children from 4 to 10 years old. What kid (or adult!) doesn't love these scratch pads! This is a simple but fun activity for kids. I would not recommend using it in the car due to the clutter. It's easy to sweep or vacuum at home, but I don't want it covering my whole car.

I bought this set as a Christmas present for a little girl I look after. She loves touch and I've read that kids like her usually enjoy drawing on paper. Unfortunately, there are almost no materials in the box; everything was in the package! A bit embarrassing for gifting :-(. I think there are packs of notes much more expensive than this one.

Great for beginners or young children. The frames are quite fragile but for my 5 year old it was a great way to display my masterpiece. So far we've only tried sunscreen paper and I've been pleasantly surprised that this product doesn't leave black chips like some do. Overall a good starter kit, you get pens, different types of paper, 2 frames and stencils for less than $15. I am very happy with my purchase and most importantly my son is busy!

My little grandparents and I were spending some time together this summer and I bought this little set so we can have some fun creating together. And we liked taking nice photos. It was mesmerizing scraping away the darkness and seeing the finished beauty underneath. My only complaint is that it's a very messy process. We had small pieces that scratched for days! Overall, kids liked this product. I bought two of these for the kids I'm taking care of for Christmas and we finally got around to it. As we started playing with this, I noticed that only one of the boxes contained a packet of glitter. I thought it might have been mistaken for a box of sisters. I LOVE Melissa & Doug. They have a lot of cute "wooden toys" that tend to be overpriced but are good quality and well designed. When Revain sold out of this art combo set we bought 2 of these with the intention of splitting the pieces into 3 art boxes to use as Christmas gifts.
