Paint tokens! Dangerous for babies who put everything in their mouths

We liked it at first! My 6 month old was fascinated by this and was able to move and pull it and it stuck to the table/tray. It entertained her forever, BUT! She puts everything in her mouth and even though it was stuck to her tray, she brought her face closer to the toy. I noticed the paint has chipped and it worries me when my little one puts it in her mouth! If your baby is already past this stage, do it!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Zero

I am so disappointed! I never leave reviews but today I got this for my 10 month old for Christmas, he of course just put it in his mouth for a moment and he had paint in his mouth and the paint was on the wire part of the toy. And almost got wet! Not suitable let alone safe for babies or toddlers! I am so upset and so disappointed because I have loved and trusted this brand for so long! I pray to god the paint isn't toxic!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

Paint chipped Day 1

I'm sorry to have to write this review but after so many 4.5 star reviews I'm sure this will be a quality toy. Our little one loves it! But literally after pulling it out of the box, the paint started peeling and chipping on small bits! Nowhere says it's non-toxic. I definitely don't want paint chipping in my baby's mouth, especially on the first day of play with a toy. Unfortunately I will be returning this and ordering another brand that also has non-toxic paint.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

You should remove "Quality Construction " from the product description.

I don't understand how you can assess this for children from 12 months. The design is so poorly made that the beads will stick to even the smallest bend in the maze, making it extremely difficult to slide the beads through the maze. As you can see the blue color has worn off the wire and the child cannot play or use it. I've heard a lot of good things about Melissa and Doug and I really wonder if this is either fake or their quality assurance is totally turned off on this particular product.

Pros
  • Good thing

Not quite satisfied but satisfied

First, the suction power of this toy is very poor. I mean really bad! At first we thought it was the finish used. It doesn't matter whether it's granite, stainless steel, marble, plastic, etc. The old trick of putting a little water on the suction doesn't work either. Your baby will use it as a teething toy. I recommend keeping an eye on any toy at all times, but especially this one. See in the photo how the paint is chipped and the wood is soft. Look at the little tooth marks! Still, despite…

baby loves it! suitable for toddlers and toddler toys

My kid loves this bead maze! She is now 7 months old and started playing with him about 2 months ago when she was able to sit on the high chair. It's barely too big to fit on our smaller portable high chair tray but is perfect for your regular high chair. And wow, she plays with that thing so much! It keeps her busy while I prepare her food, and then I give it back to her when she's finished eating and starts to behave. She will immediately calm down and be fascinated by the pearls. And I'm…

Pros
  • This is amazing

but great to play with baby under supervision

Grandson is now 9 months old and still enjoys playing with it after he has eaten. What a great toy at such a low price. I took my 9 month old daughter to the pediatrician yesterday for a check up and they had a similar toy (larger) in the waiting room. We love, we love, we love. The grandson is strong, he managed to pull the toy out (rubber holders still work great) and slapped his face - but he didn't cry. I've seen some reviews saying the toy doesn't stay in place but for us it does. Bought…
