Funny interactive game/toy

I like this interactive game/toy for children. My granddaughter and I love fishing! It teaches hand-eye coordination, it's very well made and well packaged. This is a game/toy that is also perfect for car rides. I highly recommend this item.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Would buy from local store

Bought as a Christmas present. Understood, and this is clearly a return. Everything was in a box, the lid of the box was all torn and there was white animal hair inside. No time to go back and buy a new one for Christmas. There is so much hair you can see through the box.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Grandson is not satisfied with this toy.

This toy is really difficult to play with. The concept of fishing is good, but the details of this toy just don't add up. The small pole is flimsy and the "fish" is not easy to attach, causing frustration. The pond is too thin. I love Melissa and Doug's toys, this was a disappointment. I live by the water and had high hopes for this toy as a learning aid.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Bad idea, returned

I bought this for my 12 month old son and didn't even give it to him before returning it. I was hoping it would be a great tool for training hand-eye coordination, but velcro barely works. You must physically press the Velcro against the fish to "catch" it. There's nothing magnetic or super sticky to make it as easy as it should be. I liked that it has numbers to work on other skills like counting, but I just couldn't leave anything that couldn't serve its sole purpose.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Expandable
