My two youngest kids love Blue's Clues. At 4 and 2 years old, it's great for both. Good size rug. Probably half an inch thick. Wooden figures are practical for small hands. The quality looks good.

For fans of Blue's Tips, this activity mat is quite good in size and quality. It comes with 9 wooden play figures with blues clue figures. My son loves to play with his hot bikes. I put it in his room as a rug and he can play there whenever he wants. It's not slippery and I can vacuum it with no problem. The downside for me is a bit pricey in my opinion.

What struck me right away was that this mat is of a much better quality than any other playmat we've had. It is thicker, non-slip and soft. I love all items that come with wooden toys. They are beautifully painted and my daughter might even add a few more toys as it is such a beautiful rug. I recommend it, excellent quality and it develops imagination and hands-on play!

I deducted a star because the rug is the same quality as the bath rug you can find at your local discount store. It has a cheap rubber backing and is very light. It has a few stubborn creases that prevent it from lying flat and my son often trips over it when pulling on the rug. The box was also very dirty and dented so I would be disappointed if it was a gift for someone else. Otherwise, my son likes to play with this rug and the parts it contains. It says 3 years old but my 2 year old (27 months old if that helps you) loved it straight away. He immediately started driving the bus on the streets and moving the characters around. He spent hours letting his imagination run wild, which every parent loves to see. We even staged an episode once while he was acting so he could act along and that was even more fun. They appear to be well made, nothing has fallen apart. I'd like the characters to be double-sided, but that doesn't bother me. The…
