This is a cute wooden clock to help children learn to tell the time. It's not electronic. There's not much going on with this set, but it's attractive and fun. Very good in a preschool with several children. The frame surrounding the watch is a mix of pink and purple. I would prefer a more "neutral" color like blue. . . green. . .or yellow. Arrows click when moving. Made in China.

So my kids and I love it very much. Most clocks are digital these days, but at school and at home, they still learn to read regular clocks, and this fun interactive toy is very useful. They love changing it up and have actually learned a lot in the short time it has taken. It's also magnetic, making it easy to carry, and has a storage slot for all the parts so it's self-contained. As always, Melissa and Doug do not disappoint.

I think I like this better than the kids because it's so cute! The clock is amazing and attractive, it makes a clicking sound when you turn the hands, which is great for kids. However, in my opinion it's for school kids because it's more of a teacher's story than a toy to play with for fun. If you are looking for a toy clock to PLAY, they offer other blues input clocks that sing and speak for 18-4 year olds. I would choose these for younger children.

This is a quality wooden clock to go with Melissa and Doug's toys. All pieces are made of wood with a magnet on the back that sticks to shapes very easily. I don't know if it's easy to tell what all the different shapes mean to a little one, to be honest, but for my little one it's still interactive, like gluing pieces to shapes.
