After reading a few other books on soap making I was a bit discouraged (who wants to dabble in lye and such) - then I stumbled upon this one book and immediately bought it. I soon went to the local craft store, bought all the necessary equipment and made my own soap. This led to a course on essential oils, more soaps, lotions. and a brand new hobby. If you've always wanted to try making soap yourself, grab this book and have fun.

Haven't really tried making soap or other bath products yet but the recipes seem pretty easy and I'm looking forward to trying them. I'm new to soap making and need a book to get a general idea of the ingredients and how to mix them. In addition to recipes for soaps, bubble baths, bath salts and massage oils, this book provides tips and information on materials and additives. Pictures are also a good source of inspiration for packaging ideas.
