Memorex Clear Slim Jewel Cases Review

Having bought a cheaper alternative I have to say my appreciation for this product has definitely increased. These are quality cases, not indestructible but still well made. The only negative thing I can say is that they are cheaper at the local branch, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the goods. I would recommend them.

All I wanted was a way to protect some of my archive CDs and DVDs from scratches and prevent data loss. It's not the high quality you might expect from the jewel cases that your music CDs or DVDs are packaged in - not as thick. But for basic protection, they fit my needs for something that usually spends most of its time on the shelf. Be careful though, they are fragile and the hinges will break if you're not careful.

These jewelry boxes are beautiful in appearance and crystal clear. The hinges stay together well when opening and closing the case, unlike other brands I've tried. The disadvantage of these cases is that they are very fragile. I would not use them to protect CDs carried in a car or backpack. They are more likely to open or break.
