Maybe because all discs were damaged they were stored at the wrong temperature or something. 5 out of 10 could not even be opened because the paper insert was stuck to the pane (see photo). The remaining 5 are open but the surface of each disc has discoloration as well as paper stuck to it from the liner (see second photo). They would be useless as LightScribe discs with paper glued to them.

The DVD works well in terms of reading/writing data, but the quality of the light slab image for these discs is poor in comparison to other brands bad. Considering the high price you pay for a Lightscribe disc, I was very disappointed with the poor image quality. I printed the same image on these discs and discs from another manufacturer and the image on Memorex was very blurry and low contrast compared to the other brand. Unfortunately I bought the spindle from these but I will not buy this…

I bought these drives with some apprehension as the HP drive is finicky to say the least and I have had poor results with another brand. However, they work with HP... Hooray! The coating on this disc, which is laser marked to mark the disc, is slightly different on DVD+Rs than recordable CDs. CDRs deliver a better, sharper picture, while burned DVDs are blurrier and don't look as rich. I am attaching some scanned images to the customer's image gallery to show the difference.
