The buckle mechanism I was not expecting!

I ordered this belt because it looked nice and was on the cheaper side. I'm always a little reticent about the kinds of belts where the buckle attaches with "teeth" that grasps the leather of the belt, because I'm a bigger guy and those teeth always give way to my weight, just keeping it a 100. But I figured I'd give this one a try. And I have to say, it has gone above and beyond (So far). First of all, there are no holes. The buckle and belt use this kind of ratcheting mechanism that relieves…

Pros
  • Genuine Leather
Cons
  • The belt may not be suitable for individuals with larger hips

Fantastic Belt in my review

This is a great belt. One of a kind. For the durability and the value for money rating, I will need so time. Just got it about 2 weeks ago, but so far is great.

Pros
  • Affordable price for a high-quality, long-lasting wardrobe staple
Cons
  • The ratchet may require excessive force to adjust

Best replacement for traditional belt

Traditional leather belts will normally fray at hole where you set the buckle prong. In my case it normally happens 6 months into almost daily use. With the ratchet belt, this does not happen. So the leather will last you a long while. The belt fit is also not constrained by 1 inch increments, the normal hole spacing on leather belts. You have 5 ridges per inch on the leather where the buckle’s ratchet system canlock on to. So, you almost have an infinite waist sizes in between the 6 inches of…

Pros
  • Easiest belt to buckle and then release. Top grain leather
Cons
  • The buckle may not stay securely in place
