What is"smart wool"? I don't know. what i do know is that after a 2-3 months the padding in these socks is gone and they are hot! I tried a pair of merino wool socks even in the summer of 2018 which were way more comfortable, cooler, better wicking, and far more comfortable. i replaced all these with merino wool which is more expensive but i don't like being in pain from cheap, gimmicky socks.

These are great socks! I took them on a trip to the tropical Pacific Islands and needed socks that I could wash in the morning and sun dry during the day. Much better than socks with a higher percentage of cotton. Fit well, the bottom is sufficient to pad feet during long hikes, and the colors varied enough so that socks can be recognized from all others. And low cost. Thanks for a great product!

For a very reasonable cost, these are excellent hiking socks. They fit as expected, aren't overly warm (but insulate perfectly), and provide a nice cushion for longer hikes without any slippage or discomfort. You also get a variety of colors, and though I'm not too concerned with matching on my outdoor excursions, if I were to take a notion to get color-coordinated, I'm provided with the options to do so. Very nice socks. They are as expected they are a medium weight and comfortable for moderate temps.! I bought the mediums and I wear a size 9 boot fit was perfect. Comfortable and appear to be well made.

I was fooled. I searched for merino wool and thought that's what I was getting. I'm sure they're great but Ebay is starting to slip in alot of products u didn't search for. There is 40000 choice of anything

Bought these specifically for a summer trip and I keep wearing them because they're just so comfy. Seriously, these are nice socks. I like the low-cut. It's enough to cover a low cut boot but not too high to be bothersome. Plenty of cushion. Well made. I'll buy more and I can't give a better review than that.

These socks fit great and are so much more comfortable than plain old socks. If you do a lot of walking, your feet will enjoy these.

These are what I wanted to wear with my boots this fall and winter. They are perfect. Thick and comfortable. They do come up a bit higher above the ankle than I thought they would. They feel very durable and well-made & they look great. Can't beat this quality for the price.I wear a size 8.5 (ladies) shoe and this Medium sock fits perfectly.
