Good value for the money, like the compression

I use these for mountain biking, so I'm only in the saddle for 10 miles. Can't say how the chamois would hold up for longer road rides, but I like the fit/compression. I wear these under baggies but they would be fine to wear on their own too if that's your preference/or you're road riding. For my purposes they've worked well and the chamois has been good.

Pros
  • Haven't been on a ride over 2hrs but so far comfortable
Cons
  • Fabric snags easily

Good product - my new review

Feels sturdy. It is comfortable. After multiple washes, it doesn't show signs of diminishing qualities.I like the rubber-like material around the ends to keep the shorts from rolling up.

Pros
  • Perfect for both beginners and experienced cyclists
Cons
  • Fabric stretches out with wear

Love these - my new go-to shorts!

These are the most comfortable riding shorts I own. They fit almost perfect (maybe a little snug around the base of the legs where the elastic band is) and breath very well. Love them!

Pros
  • Ideal for both indoor and outdoor cycling activities
Cons
  • Shorts cause saddle sores

Fit was big for me.

The fit was a little big for me. I bought another brand that fit better. Otherwise the shorts seemed to be well made. I was hoping they would have fit.

Pros
  • Fairly comfortable for my rides, generally 10 miles
Cons
  • Shorts lack proper ventilation

Seemed to fit, but a tad too large

Full disclosure: this is the first pair of bike shorts I've ordered. That said. I wear a US 34 waist, so ordered the XL size per the fit guide's recommendation. Tried the shorts on (over performance boxer briefs) for fit, and they seemed to be ok. Took them for a ride, and it seems like they might be a tad too big. Not sure if it's the cut or because I'm between their L and XL. wish I'd ordered the L instead. Will see if they will exchange for size even though I've worn them once.

Pros
  • Base Layers & Compression
Cons
  • Does not provide enough padding

Great bike shorts good for me

I’ve tried many bikes shorts available on amazon for under $50 and Sponeed has the best padding. The fit is very good. I ordered US Large. I normally wear 34” and I’m 6’ 180 pounds. They are just a bit tight, just like they should be. They seem to be well made. I’ll update if I notice any unusual wear. The only thing I would suggest is to please make these in all black. I don’t really like all the bright colors and stripes, and if you put a small logo that would be fine, but 12 per leg is…

Pros
  • Designed specifically for road cycling for improved performance
Cons
  • Poor grip on the saddle

Best bike shorts ever

I am a PI fan and always have been. But before ragbrai I needed a new pair. Great price what the heck. After 1 training ride I bought 2 more pairs. Real test was riding consecutive days of 65 70 and 65 miles during ragbrai 2018. No chafe no bother and Best NO Numb butt! I tossed my PI. Not sure yet on longevity but they rock. But heck I can buy 2-3 pairs and still cheaper than my pearl shorts!

Pros
  • Available in a wide range of sizes to fit any body type
Cons
  • Shorts are too tight around the crotch

They run very small. I usually buy a L, so I upped the size to XL. When I received my order and tried them on XL was still to small.I probley read the sizing chart wrong. I'm a 36" waist average size. I returned the XL and ordered a XXL and this size fits a lot better.I like the gel padding, and they fit snug. I figured for the price I couldn't beat it. So far the quality and performance is great!I'll buy another pair or two.

Pros
  • Fit and comfort are spot on. I do have a large ass, it is what it is. 🤣
Cons
  • Poor quality material used

inexpensive bike short. The padding is not even, it is designed to give more protection in different areas, These are great for MTN bike liners but can be uncomfortable on road bike seats

Pros
  • Smooth and sleek fit for improved aerodynamics.
Cons
  • Delivery takes longer than expected

nice and well done padded section

Fit as expected, nice and well done padded section. Haven't try them yet but I'm experienced on this field so I can tell in advance they'll do the job.

Pros
  • Clothing
Cons
  • Zipper sticks frequently

Purchased these to hopefully find a replacement to my more expensive Louis Garneau bibs and riding shorts. First, I'm 5'10", 167lbs. I normally wear a Large to XLarge in Louis Garneau. Castelli I'm an XL. People in the review said to size up 1. So I went with a Large. I have to say, the fit is a big larger around the mid point/groin of the short than I'm used to with big brands. Castelli's run small for sure, Garneau are pretty much right on for their sizes and consistent. I should have…

Pros
  • My wife and I really like how our tights feel. We are excited to put them to the test on our Pelaton.
Cons
  • Unattractive design
