Description of 🔭 MEOPTEX 1.25-inch 6mm 9mm 15mm 20mm 66-Degree Ultra Wide Angle Eyepiece for Telescope (15mm) - Enhanced SEO

"High-quality, affordable 15mm telescope eyepiece offers a wide field of view and superior performance at a bargain price. Generous 14.8mm eye relief allows comfortable viewing distance and lets eyeglass wearers see the entire field of view. Wide 66-deg apparent field offers expansive views of the moon, star clusters, and the Milky Way. 5-element design delivers sharp images with good color correction and contrast. Aluminum 1.25"" eyepiece barrel is internally blackened to eliminate light scattering, and is threaded to accept 1.25"" filters. ".

Cheap eyepieces

Pretty decent, especially for the price. I use this with my z130 jumel, it works pretty well. Magnificent views of Saturn and Jupiter as well as the opportunity to see the details of the moon.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Empty

Great eyepiece for a beginner

Just right for playing with the telescope I got. Great view of the night sky. They are good for waiting points. Great for me to kill time early in the morning

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Doubtful

Rugged, heavy eyepiece

Compare this eyepiece to the cheap ones that came with your 70mm eyepiece and you'll see they're not even in the same league. It is very well made and a bit heavy. The only downside is that with my cheap telescope I sometimes have to elevate the scope much higher than I need to because of the extra weight. I got a picture of the Great Conjunction through 6mm.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Surprisingly good for the money.

The image is clear to the very edge of the field of view. I have compared this to moderately good eyepieces (not TV but Meade, Paradigm etc) and in my opinion they add up quite favorably. I increased the 6 by 1.5 to 4 and it's held up pretty well. There are several posts online that say they are not layered because they are not in the ads. But as far as I can tell, they appear to be and certainly act that way. Save some money and get them while they last.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Repair

Efficient budget eyepiece

I'm new to astronomy but I've gotten a few different variations of these 66 degree gold line style eyepieces and they seem to work very well. The 15mm and 9mm I have were my favorites in my 8" Dob F/5.9 which offer great views of the Orion Nebula, M36, M37, M38, NGC 2244, Saturn and Jupiter to name a few. some of the things i dont have i have premium eyepieces to compare them to so keep that in mind but still for what i posted for them i have a great view!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • I'll post later

My telescope has a default setting, when you tighten it it doesn't stand where it is You tighten it up for me fmovies it looks like a good part is out of order. I'm not trying to complain, but it was good money for it. I don't know, I just feel robbed and can't find parts for it. As I said, they only sent me a telescope lens when they advertised it for $29, just like I said. And I would never want them to waste money again and if you go if you go to the site you will see for yourself thanks and

Pros
  • While I am satisfied
Cons
  • I could have chosen a newer model

Excellent value for money, friendly service.

I don't know what they mean by "thickness" but it's a good eyepiece. Excellent eye relief for comfortable viewing. Optically it seems accurate as a carefully focused image will be sharp enough. I think it's cheap because the lenses in it are made of some kind of polymer (plastic) so you have to be very careful not to get dusty or dirty in any way. Any attempt to clean it will most likely badly scratch the surface and affect performance. But the price can't beat the optical quality. Just be very

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Expensive

Warning, the name is deceptive.

I chose the "MEOPTEX 1.25" 6mm 9mm 15mm 20mm 66° ultra wide-angle telescope eyepiece (15mm) because of the price, because I'm a beginner and just starting out. I thought it was a set of eyepieces (6mm, 9mm, 15mm, 20mm) but after only receiving the 15mm eyepiece with the picture showing all 4 eyepieces and the title I thought so , I would buy. I see "(15mm)" at the very end of the name, but I didn't give it much thought when I bought it. I would have bought a more well known brand if I knew it…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • not reliable

End your search for a cheap eyepiece!

This was the first eyepiece I bought after using the 10mm and 25mm eyepieces that came with the Celestron 114az Newtonian reflector which I recently bought would have. I don't have enough experience to say if this eyepiece is great on its own. I will say that it is much better than what came with the telescope. (I also wanted children to have little trouble seeing things.) Under good to good viewing conditions, binary stars seem to resolve slightly better. The clusters also appear to be more…

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Not all will fit
