10.5 shoes are not 10.5 but 11.5. I have combined them with other boots and insoles. I think they must have made a mistake making these boots, made 11.5 and stamped them as a 10.5. The difference is not marginal. I wear insoles for bone spur issues that are a 10.5 exactly. They fit all my 10.5 inch shoes and these shoes leave a 2-3 cm gap between the heels when I put in the insoles. I think a company should recall their shoes if they are clearly defective.

This is my third pair expensive but worth the money for those who already know this brand you already know them these shoes are excellent

Mephisto shoes speak for themselves because they are of absolute quality. It was supposed to be a Christmas present when the box arrived ripped, torn and just damaged I was very disappointed as I cannot gift these shoes in this box.

Well made, comfortable and durable. Pretty presentable in a business context. However, I prefer the Mephisto shoe from Edlef. They have a lower front tip, are slightly more ornate, and are nearly indestructible.

I've been wearing Mephistos for years and absolutely love them. The retail price is a bit steep for my budget so I always grab it when I see it on sale. These loafers are fantastic. Very comfortable and durable rubber sole. I think Mephistos is half a size bigger and they are no exception. They usually wear a 12, took 11.5 and fit perfectly.

In 1991 I was taught that Mephisto's dimensions and contraptions were larger than Americans were used to. They always look big, but if you give them a chance and some time, my shoes will always end up being the most comfortable ones I have. So it is with this couple; 9 seemed too big to me, but now they are so comfortable that I will not take them off until the end of spring and summer. Beautiful and priceless shoes.
