I really liked the shoes. ordered 9.5. they were too big. I wear some shoes 9, some 9.5. It's hard to know without trying them on.

I usually wear men's size 9 pants. Size 8 of these shoes fit my foot better but are too tight on the top of the foot. I returned them and left at 9. They're very comfortable, although I'll confess I don't wear them much - from an hour to 90 minutes a day, that's it. They still look great after a year in the office with a few small signs of wear in the usual places. I'm sure even that would be better if I took better care of my skin. In addition to fast shipping, this shoe has a lighter natural rubber sole: Caoutchoute Lite. It seems that I can walk faster in it, although every step is the same. Time will tell if this material is as durable as the original (100% rubber).

This is my second time ordering this shoe. They are incredibly comfortable. All my life I've expected shoes to hurt me because I have a very high arch and a very wide foot. But these fit perfectly and are quite appropriate business shoes. Mephisto makes a great product.
