Left unite! in bread knife

Who would have thought? I bake a lot of bread. Fresh bread is good for the soul. However, many of my loaves just didn't look right when I cut them. I can cut bread better with this knife than with a fancy bakery. I had no idea bread knives had handles until I bought this knife. (It does a great job with tomatoes, too!) If you're left-handed, get a left-handed knife. This one is sharp, gets the job done, and is beyond cheap.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Empty

Long Bread Knife

The Long Bread Knife works great when I use the breadcutter stand in my homemade breadmaker. The distance between the slots in the cutting stand is too big for a normal length bread knife. When moving the normal knife back and forth, the normal knife comes out of the groove and prevents the knife from moving. This extended bread knife allows the knife to move normally without leaving the groove of the cutting stand. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Lefty is very important!

All of us, left-handers, are used to using right-handers: scissors, knives, watches, the list is endless. This is the first time I've bought a product for my left hand and it's great! It looks symmetrical but feels way better than any other knife I've had. It feels good in the hand, cuts very cleanly and accurately and is reasonably priced. For less than $20 you really can't ask for more.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Something else

Not what I expected

It has no smoothness so the slices get rough. I can't expect good results from a cheap knife. It is too thick compared to other knives, it could be used as a cleaver if it had a straight edge. I do not recommend this. EDIT: After a few uses, cutting potatoes got better. Now cuts like a champ. I can easily cut almost paper-thin root vegetables and even corned beef, bread slices. Therefore I give 5 stars.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Steel provenance is misleading and suspicious

I just received it and rarely review a product without extensive testing. It looks good and feels good. The issue is proudly printed directly onto the sealed "Made in Taiwan" packaging. the website sheds no light on the truth and I really doubt the Taiwanese would import Japanese stainless steel. However, it is possible and they should come out on top if it is actually Chinese stainless steel. It wouldn't be so bad, and maybe it would be truer if it were true.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

I didn't know serrated knives could be so sharp!

This knife is a discovery for me. I really didn't think serrated knives could be so sharp. This is now the sharpest knife in my drawer (literally). I was thinking of buying a bread slicing guide, those big flexible bamboo things, but I don't need them now. I can easily control each slice and cut slices of bread much thinner than I could imagine without ever tearing the bread. The handle is ergonomic, as is the blade itself. The blade is slightly curved, which gives room for knuckles, but moreโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
