Fit, warmth, comfort

I moved from Florida to Colorado had to learn how to redress myself! Lol Meriwool is the best and you can’t beat these, the price is right on, the comfort, no itching, wash great- I line dry them. I just bought a second pair. Because I want to have these at the ready at all times. I wear them to sleep in when we camp, under work-out clothes and everyday wear. My first pair is a year old and I can’t tell the difference between the new ones and the older ones. We can have days in Colorado of…

Pros
  • Helps to regulate moisture and prevent sweating
Cons
  • The shirt may not be able to stand up to repeated washes as well as synthetic materials

5 Star top except for the tag

I grew up with scratchy wool and always thought I was allergic but based on the reviews and some chronic issues with trying to sleep comfortably in varying temperatures at night, I decided to try. it I wish I had tried it sooner. SO comfy. Fits great. Even when I do get too warm or dealing with hormone swings, I'm just damp, not soaked with sweat and feeling gross with the need to change When I'm cold, this warms me up in a cozy way. It's like magic how it regulates temperature and breathes…

Pros
  • Flattering fit for all body types
Cons
  • The shirt may not provide the same level of moisture wicking as synthetic materials

Comfortable, breathable

I got the medium layer and it is perfectly comfortable alone or layered. Forget about the old days of itchy skin from wool clothing. Wear it against your body or layered. BTW I am buying another one!

Pros
  • I buy this item like a gift for my wife and she like it. So we are really happy with the purchased.
Cons
  • The sizing may run small or large, making it difficult to find the right fit

Fabulous Colors for Fabulous Shirt

Please consider producing these in indigo and sky blue heather. A true hunter green or beautiful heather green would be great, too. These shirts are comfortable and warm. I like pairing them with a light-weight merino under shirt during the winter. In these times when energy consumption is part of caring for humanity & the planet, I can turn down the house heat and be comfortable & cozy in this sweater. These shirts are so versatile because of their quality & finished look that I am eager to…

Pros
  • Comes in multiple colors to fit any style
Cons
  • The shirt may not be able to hold its shape as well over time compared to synthetic materials

Just bought my second set of these shirts. They effing rock.

UPDATE: I just bought another set of these shirts (sky heather and pink heather in medium), because my smalls are a little too tight now (COVID weight gain and just getting older). The pink is so beautiful, and the blue is still awesome. The perfect base layer for basically any activity. I still definitely recommend these shirts.ORIGINAL REVIEW:These shirts are amazing—not itchy at all, beautifully soft wool, and awesome colors. (I got sky blue, teal, and black.) I’m 5’7”, 140 lbs., 32B chest…

Pros
  • Can be used as a base layer or worn alone
Cons
  • The shirt may not be as easily available in stores compared to other clothing items

Perfect midweight layer!

I moved from FL to MA and these base layers have saved my life. These tops are very well made. I am a petite 5'2" 125 and the small size fits me perfectly with out being too tight or too loose. The sleeves are long on me and they could have a thumb hole in my opinion but I love these anyhow, I just roll up my sleeves a bit. The top has flat seams and it is very soft, not itchy or scratchy at all. These tops will keep you warm on a hike or lounging at home. That are not inexpensive but they are…

Pros
  • Active
Cons
  • The shirt may be difficult to coordinate with different outfits and styles

Comfortable & very warm!

I LOVE this product. I was looking for warm "long underwear" for a trip to Canada during the winter. Using these wool leggings and top as a base layer was everything I needed & more. 10/10 would buy again! Fits as expected.

Pros
  • Stretchy material allows for freedom of movement
Cons
  • The shirt may not provide enough warmth for some wearers

Skip "Big " Brands and Size Down for Perfect Fit!

I had been searching for a quality 100% Merino wool base layer ever since it started getting into winter in my town. I looked at reviews and the quality of various brands- including leading name brands.I tried a different brand's 250 base layer, which is the same price point as MERIWOOL, it was a color I liked and was silky soft, but the sleeves were ill-fitting and huge, the length of the body far too long, yet tight, and so it couldn't be worn as a base layer (more just like regular oddly…

Pros
  • Women
Cons
  • The shirt may not be suitable for high impact sports due to its soft fabric

Nice fit, and warm - my new review

I wore this as a base layer on a fishing trip in November. Temps in the 20s and a little breezy. I stayed pretty warm, considering I wasn't moving around a whole lot. The fabric is soft and the fit is perfect. I bought a medium. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Active Base Layers
Cons
  • The shirt may not be suitable for people who are allergic to wool

I am not short, but this long underwear top comes 3 inches below my crotch. When I tuck the shirt into my pants, the bottom of the shirt bunches up into a big crumpled mess. This is supposed to be a BASE layer with other layers over it. But this base layer is longer than my other layers. The product is well-made and comfortable-- but it doesn't fit. I am 5 foot 7 & ½ inches tall. I can't imagine how bad this would be if I were 5'2". I purchased a Medium Top. I weigh 122-126 pounds. I gave this…

Pros
  • Breathable fabric allows for airflow
Cons
  • The shirt may not be as fashionable as other base layer options
