Merkur Moustache Eyebrow Safety Razor Review

I'm pretty sure the principle of this thing is to CARE the hair because that's what it does. Don't shave, pull. Very painful and leaves red, irritated patches. Not all hair falls out, even if you can endure the pain. Basically useless and a piece of junk. Don't buy, keep looking.

This is a mini razor. This shave is very good. The shave is buttery smooth. There were no nicknames. Can be used to shave hard-to-reach areas. I recommend.

Disappointed with the Merkur mustache and eyebrow shaver. This thing is not suitable for trimming a mustache or between the eyebrows. This works (to an extent) for ear hairs since they are small; That's why I gave almost 2 stars. The blades (as mentioned in other reviews) are NOT sharp at all, they are dull. Bought a razor to shave the narrow area between nose and mustache despite, to my chagrin, warnings in the review that the blades are dull. The reviews were correct. . . The razor is good and well made, but the blade is so dull that the razor is unusable. Hello Mercury, are you listening? Do you even read these customer reviews? I know you are capable of crafting sharp blades that will make your product a must have for anyone with facial hair.

I have been shaving with a Merkur safety razor for over 10 years and have decided on this product despite the bad reviews. I have a full beard and wanted this razor to help keep my mustache and eyebrows in order. Now I can't stress enough that when using a razor, preparation is key, so lather it up or use shaving oil. Holding the razor at an angle seemed to eliminate any pulling issues and overall I was happy with the end result.

I bought this razor expecting it to be a mini version of my Merkur Futur safety razor which I have used for over 20 years to tackle heavy to reach accessible places. Unfortunately, the reality falls far short of these expectations. This little razor is totally incapable of shaving hair, it looks dull. My guess is that the blade angle isn't optimized, but I'm not sure. However, I do not recommend this for those who really want to remove their hair.

If you like a safety razor and have a moustache, goatee or both, this accessory razor is a great purchase. I probably use it once a week for touch ups and while the blades aren't very sharp they are good for one time use. Think of it this way: it's a very specialized tool, and if you need it for your style, there's nothing quite like it.
