Let me first say that I am a grown male who wears size 4 baby clothes as he was born with Spina bifida. So my legs are small, squat and wide. I go through shoes like no other. My shoes have to be durable. These are the first Merrells I have ever owned and they won't be the last. They are definitely durable and fit great. Although they appear to be narrow. These shoes are very well made and I'm sure they will last a long time. I haven't tested this yet, but I'm not sure if they are waterproof. I

I buy these every year for my son who turns 10 this year. They are very durable, comfortable and we love that there are no laces although he can tie his shoes lol. The dog has been chewing on our current pair which is why we love them so much I will actually be buying him another pair. They are waterproof, not waterproof.
