I spoke to Merrell to find out how long the shoes were (I've worn them A LOT!) and was told to report them as defective, which I did. My sons tear their shoes like crazy. Especially now that even the traditionally "reliable" and "high quality" shoe companies (I'm looking at you, Nike and Adidas!) are producing crap shoes, especially for kids.
