Shoes look beautiful but are very uncomfortable. Also, it's rubbing on my heel and I think it's going to cause a blister. I used to have Merrell shoes that I liked but these were terrible.

I have the size that fits the skin and I'm surprised they fit even though they are snug on the skin. I couldn't wear them. The toe hole tweaks the feet, which I like in slip-on shoes. That way is pretty weird how they did it. Although my left arm is wrapped in leather and held tight, it seems to be moving enough to be distracting. There's no heel counter, which probably doesn't help.

I'm a fan of Merrell products but at first I thought the bell bottoms/socks on the top were odd and difficult to put on. But I live in a place full of loose, deep sand, and this sock does a great job of keeping it out of my shoes. So I would suggest that these shoes, odd as they are, are functionally useful. Especially for leisurely walks or hikes on the beach or in the desert.

What these slippers have in common is that the opening is not suitable for a high instep. I couldn't even put them on halfway. Although they are beautifully designed. Just not for my anatomy.
