The firmware failed in 3 days.

The seams that connect the tongue to the sneakers are untied after 3 days of wear for an hour or two a day. I love minimalist shoes... so if you are of the same sort, you'll like these.

Pros
  • I love minimalist shoes... so if you are one of them you will love these.
Cons
  • Limited color options

Great work shoes!

Very comfortable shoes; corresponds to the size. My bare foot is exactly 11 inches and I bought a size 11 (45€) and they go perfectly with ankle length lightweight wool socks; Barefoot even feels great.

Pros
  • Not breathable enough for hot weather but the comfort and style are amazing for everyday wear or cold runs.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with wide feet

This is one of the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had. And I run at least 10 miles every day. This may be a factor in how quickly I wore out the hole in the sole of these shoes - they only lasted 4 months before the ball burst on the right shoe. For the price, I wish the outsole was made of a more durable material. However, if you don't run as much as I do, these are fantastic shoes. I especially like how the sole wraps around my toes - very nice when I trip over my toes a lot!

Pros
  • Offers excellent breathability to keep your feet fresh and dry.
Cons
  • Lack of ankle stability

Unexpected quality problems

I have owned about 10 pairs of Merrell shoes since 2004 and have been very happy with every pair but unfortunately not this one. The lace loop came loose after 3 months of wearing it to the office. I can fix it easily but still frustrated

Pros
  • The most comfortable shoes. Good enough to wear to the office. Extremely durable.
Cons
  • Not suitable for colder weather

The most comfortable sneakers or shoes (or both)?

You can order your correct size and these Merrills will fit perfectly. Don't listen to people who say "order a half size up/down". I listened and now I know that after three weeks of wearing these shoes, although they fit snugly, the ideal would be to order my true size. These shoes are not designed to be comfortable. FREE YOUR FINGERS AND FEET!

Pros
  • Minimalist design provides better ground feel and natural movement.
Cons
  • May cause blisters

Why is it so expensive?

Great socks of good quality. I have a steam mitt 2 with a different upper that breathes much better than this leather. These are more show shoes for work or similar conditions but I wouldn't use them for long walks in the woods or similar. When I got 2 I spent about $65. 2 years later it's $110? The design is pretty basic, and while the materials are nice, I can't see myself buying it again if there's a similar price increase.

Pros
  • The minimalist design makes them a great choice for people who prefer simple and clean shoes.
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with orthotics.

Buy new Merrell sandals, not these

I love Merrell sandals - I already have two pairs but cannot recommend these. They look more like swim shoes or frog shoes than real shoes - they have an almost jelly-like sole that doesn't protect your feet. Very uncomfortable. upset.

Pros
  • Provides excellent support and grip for better stability and balance.
Cons
  • Not suitable for rocky terrain

As close to being barefoot as possible to get a job

These shoes fit as expected and are incredibly comfortable. I have never gone wrong with Merrell shoes for the comfort and they last a long time which is a bonus for the price.

Pros
  • Zero-drop construction promotes natural alignment and better posture.
Cons
  • The sole can become slippery when wet

Small but great overall

I have very wide flat feet and I really feel that in these shoes. I have 10 which are usually wide enough for my feet and a bit long. They seemed a little long and also a little narrow. However, the fit isn't bad when worn with socks, and the shoes themselves are great. I wear them often and enjoy them. I just wish there was a wide or ee version.

Pros
  • Great fit and great workmanship
Cons
  • Difficulty keeping clean

The most minimal shoes at a reasonable price

These are the most minimalist shoes I've ever owned. Reasonable price (much cheaper than the Vivibarefoot for the same comfort), good looks, no drips, thin console. I like you very much! For reference, I usually wear US8.5 shoes. I ordered US8.5 and it fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Provides excellent arch support to relieve pain and discomfort
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with plantar fasciitis.

I love these shoes. I think this is my fifth pair in this leather and fabric style. Cloth glasses last an average of 6-8 months if worn daily. This is my first pair of leathers so I'll see if the area around the outboard just behind the toe box stays intact without tearing or coming off the sole. Every other pair of vape gloves I've had has cracked on the outside behind the toe box. The sole always wears out too quickly. Every pair I have has holes in the sole just below the midsection behind…

Pros
  • Ideal for people suffering from leg or joint pain
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable for a long period of time

Ooooooooooo happy with these shoes!

I was looking for a nice sandal for everyday use. They are exactly what I had hoped for. Comfortable, beautiful (color Dusty Olive), wide toe, flexible sole without height difference. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The only thing that is questionable is the durability as I've only had it for a week.

Pros
  • Made from eco-friendly materials for those who care about the environment.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with high arches.

Nice minimalist shoes. Although not holding

These are minimalist shoes. They don't stretch without a cushion or instep support. The seams on the tongue began to unravel after 4-5 months.

Pros
  • I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He says it's like walking barefoot.
Cons
  • A size too small

Hard tongue is very painful

Now I know why these are the only 3 vape gloves left in stock: this leather version is cut in the same pattern as the cloth shoes but made of thick leather. Even the tongue is a thick skin! - so hard it actually cut the skin over the "flex zone" on the lower front of my ankle. Pooh. Really terrible shoes.

Pros
  • My husband liked it very much
Cons
  • Those who buy in the USA should keep their hands off it. They are very large than mentioned and returning this product is a pain.

BEWARE of this seller

The product is simply excellent, judging by the review Merrell is a great company and makes a great product. This just didn't work for me. Here's the problem, the seller is based in Spain known as "Tradeinn" and if you need to return the item you will have to pay shipping which in my case was $25.50 for the cheapest shipping method available i could find. Also, it took them quite a while to 'ship' the shipping label, which was actually embedded in an ebay correspondence rather than an email…

Pros
  • Ideal for people who prefer minimalist shoes
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient stability

Good product, real mini shoes

The width was a little narrow on the big toe but it broke very quickly, I've been wearing them as my everyday shoes for about a month, it took me about a week to get used to the barefoot lifestyle, I'm basically on cement 95% of the day no problem but I usually go barefoot at home so it was a pretty easy transition for me. If you wear them with pants your pants will stretch at the heel, I just rolled up the cuff to the touch and voila no more pulling. So far so good, will report back in about 6

Pros
  • Promotes healthy foot development in children and adolescents.
Cons
  • Knuckle pad missing

Size table is wrong

I wear a size 10 with almost all of my shoes. Sure, brand name shoes run a little higher or lower, but they were a solid inch and have changed a bit. Size ten, probably size 12.

Pros
  • Offers excellent breathability to keep your feet cool and dry.
Cons
  • May cause leg fatigue

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The sole lasted less than 4 months.

I liked the design. What I didn't like was that I had a similar model, same brand, same sole that lasted more than a year before a hole in the sole appeared. This pair lasted less than four months. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • They are easy to clean and maintain, making them the perfect everyday shoe.
Cons
  • Might not fit

Revainrating 2 out of 5

holes after 3 months

At first they seemed like a great shoe, but after hiking 5-10 miles daily for the past 3 months, they started breaking. I expected them to live at least a full year, but didn't even come close. Sad to admit because I really liked these shoes. But they just won't last if you walk every day.

Pros
  • Provides better mobility and agility during physical activity
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with foot problems

I've added an insole to help with plus size

Normal size with insole and socks for winter, 1 size down for summer, no socks. favorite shoes now. Hope they keep going.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Update available
