I have a worn pair of Vapor Glove 2's that I love. They are noticeably stiffer on the sides and outsole, which puts me off. You lose the feeling of bare feet. I hope they break down and soften up like my old pair. I alternate between them and Vibram Five Finger KSO. Updated 3/25/18. They snap too, as do the two VG 2 pairs I have. Reinforcement @ the ball of the foot didn't move up far enough, if it did it could prevent it. Merrell will replace them under warranty but I'm not sure if they are covered under warranty. I expect they will. Where the ball of the foot flexes within the net, a fold forms to a point, and this is where both the left and right sides fail.
