I really wanted them to like it.

Having had many pairs of the earlier vape gloves 1 and 2 I was really looking forward to improving the durability of these gloves but unfortunately this turned out to be a downside. They are very tight in the arch and the reinforcement along the sole in the arch will pucker and cause blisters. They're also a lot stiffer than my old vaping gloves, so much so that when you take them off they keep their shape like regular shoes, the old ones collapse on their own. The toe box, tongue, and lacing…

Nice feel, disappointing quality

I really like the feel of the Vapor Glove 3's movement. The absence of almost any material between you and the ground gives me more confidence, not to mention it added strength a lot to my ankles and knees. Aside from the size 13 being too wide in the toe box (I tried size 12 but they were too small) there is nothing about the fit of the shoe that I didn't like. Unfortunately, after about a week of using the Vapor Glove every half day, I noticed the sole of my right boot was falling apart. The…

Stiffer That Vapor Glove 2

I have a worn pair of Vapor Glove 2's that I love. They are noticeably stiffer on the sides and outsole, which puts me off. You lose the feeling of bare feet. I hope they break down and soften up like my old pair. I alternate between them and Vibram Five Finger KSO. What I need is a slightly normal looking shoe that can be worn with socks but still has the same barefoot feel as the Vibrams and my Vapor Glove 2. Overall I think I'll like them and have no plans to return them. .They are the same…

OK at first but after a few months it falls out like VG 2.

Updated 3/25/18. They snap too, as do the two VG 2 pairs I have. Reinforcement @ the ball of the foot didn't move up far enough, if it did it could prevent it. Merrell will replace them under warranty but I'm not sure if they are covered under warranty. I expect they will. Where the ball of the foot flexes within the net, a fold forms to a point, and this is where both the left and right sides fail. I love the idea of these boots but as far as execution goes the way they are constructed. Spring

Best barefoot run with no annoying toes

I ran Vibram FiveFingers for about five years before the rubber soles finally became obsolete from so much use. When it came time to replace them, I looked for a comparable alternative that didn't have any interfering fingers. Not only do the toes look ridiculous, they make shoes take forever to put on, and if you're not okay with very smelly shoes, they force you to wear socks with identical toes. It's also useless, since you can't move your toes individually in the rubber sole anyway. After…

tongues came off after two weeks

I liked the wide toe box which allowed me to keep my toes on the ground if I wanted to. And while the barefoot style left baseball-sized knots in my calves, I knew it was my new toe-and-toe gait and I would eventually get used to it. to. In fact, I think my calves actually grew as a result, so that's a bonus! Also, I had pain in my sacroiliac joint because L5 and S1 had decided to merge (not shoe related), but after a week the pain in them was significantly less. I was willing to give that five

worked for me Will they work for you too?

I liked the Vapor Glove 2. I wore them until I started getting holes near my toes (after 1.5-2 years) so I ordered the same size Vapor Glove 3. All I can say is wow. These are the best sneakers and running shoes I've ever had. I ran it 5 miles out of the box with it, 7 miles next week. Today I just ran 10.6 miles in one run. I didn't have to break these shoes in at all. These shoes are truly amazing. Note, however, that I've been using the Vapor Glove 2 and other Vibram minimalist shoes since…

My favorite shoes! in men's

I don't usually write reviews unless something very good (or bad) happens to the product. In this case, my experience was absolutely amazing! From the moment I unboxed these shoes to this day I can't stop looking at them! I literally wore these shoes every day. And no matter how I wear them, they look great. I wear them casually with jeans as well as with my weekly jogging/training outfit. However, I will say that they are a bit big, but in my case I'm actually happy. I usually wear a size 9…
