👞 Merrell WTRPF Hiking Orange Little Boys' Shoes: Outdoor Adventure Ready Review

The first few months were good but fell by very quickly. Looks waterproof, but it's not. Inside the shoe was cardboard that got wet and formed lumps. I cut the lining to get the box out to get a few extra weeks off of these shoes that lasted less than 4 months. The sole is also almost completely worn out. Almost paper now.

The shoes are perfect for our needs. My son has special orthopedic insoles for his feet and needed a sturdy, slightly heavy shoe to control his feet with bone problems. Also shoes that fit the inserts without sacrificing comfort. This shoe is perfect for everything. With no orthotics, it's comfortable and works well for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, etc. My 10-year-old son doesn't think it's the best for fast running and other high-intensity sports as it's neither light nor flexible…

We were very disappointed with these shoes. We bought them for our son in April. He only wears them occasionally, but by late June or early July they are starting to fall apart. Update: after contacting Merrell, they agreed to provide us with replacement shoes of comparable value and they gave us a number of options to choose from.
