What a workhorse! Best Among Chef Knives

Light, Fast, Convenient, Easy to Sharpen, Bought 3 more - Pro Chefs that have quite a few blades and very few are as cheap, most are $100-250 each ( im Of course I'm not that rich in sales :) ).

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Approximately

Cuts everything cleanly

Including my finger. Very comfortable in the hand. Big enough to make a batch at once rather than several small piles. Quality product at a reasonable price. I have several Messermeister knives, absolutely no regrets.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Upgradable

Feels Like Knife Magic

Received this as the first decent knife for my family's house. Ever since we got it, we all use it as much as we can. As long as you keep it sharp (it even holds an edge decently) it will serve you like magic. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Broad blade and simple ergonomics

Great knife for the price, easy to handle and use. Razor sharp out of the box, no touching up or sharpening required. A great entry-level whisk or knife for use in the professional kitchen and at home. It's larger than other chef's knives, giving people with large hands plenty of room for their knuckles.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

I'll probably use it for a while and it'll end in a draw

The knife is worth what a $30 tool costs. The blade height makes it a good choice for a utility knife, which is good as it can be used for most kitchen tasks. The edge out of the box was pretty bad, and the spine is insanely thick, so it wedges and doesn't cut, it has a plus: durable, cheap, and most importantly, blade height.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Good, but. for kitchen and dining room

Great knife at a great price. There is no doubt about it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that there is a comparably priced chef's knife that is similar and surpasses it in almost every way in terms of profile and feel. And this is an 8 inch Victorinox chef's knife with a Fibrox handle. However, this knife will not disappoint you. In my opinion, the Victorinox just cuts and holds better (better heat treatment?) than the Messermeister.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No result

THE BEST KNIFE EVER - Kitchen & Dining

We've been using this knife for two weeks now. I love to cook and I think I'm pretty good at it provided I have the right tools for the job. My old set of knives had wooden handles that slipped off when wet and my knuckles broke when cutting. It does NOT slide or wobble back and forth with each passage of light. This knife comes very sharp out of the box but we have already sharpened it once due to heavy use. This is our last knife and the only knife

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here
