I love this nailer!

Well, I'll say right away that I bought this nailer to replace my first finishing nailer that I bought from Harbor Freight. The Harbor Freight nailer worked, but there was always a problem, whether it was loading, feeding, or driving nails. I immediately felt the difference with this nailer! It is lighter and very well balanced. I was amazed at how easily I could maneuver at non-standard angles. It loads easily, feeds flawlessly and drives a nail every time. Excellent nail gun for professionals

I really like this gun. I'm a neat carpenter and using 15 gauge corner nails was getting expensive. I've been using this gun for a while installing baseboards, crowns, cabinets and other surfaces including MDF. I use 2 inch nails for almost everything so I can't comment on larger nails because if I need to do more I use my corner nailer with a heavier gauge because it makes more sense. The head is thinner than the Makita, making it easier to get under closets when attaching plain shoes. It's…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Very happy with my choice

I am not a professional builder. I am a longtime DiYer who has never owned/had a nail gun and has spent many hours reading reviews from experienced users/owners. There are many considerations when making a purchase, so I encourage you to do the same if this is your first. After everything I read, I decided on this Metabo and so far I am very satisfied with it. I am replacing 1980's doors in our home including the frames as well as all of our trim. I decided a nail gun would be more than worthy.
