Just what I was looking for for the new 2022 Tesla Model Y. Looks really great. The best I can find on the internet. EDIT: Just realized it was $30. Actually a bit expensive.

This phone holder works exactly as described. Easy installation and the mount itself is STRONG. The only negative thing I can say is that the phone wobbles a bit when driving due to the weight distribution, but that's not that bad. Looks great and elegant.

Basically ok. The magnet is ok, I wish it was a little stronger. Tried to install on the left side of the steering wheel, but there was not enough space to install. In the center of the console it is quite wide. I wish the phone holder part was a bit longer and higher so the angle of the phone could be more horizontal and pointing towards you instead of pointing up so much. But it's still okay. I will take a long journey and update.

Makes a dent like a line where the top part pushes into the soft-touch dashboard. The dent was mostly gone after 24 hours in the sun, but I don't want to mess up the dash to fit a phone. In addition, due to the design of the dashboard, the phone is very far from the driver and not at all comfortable to use. I don't think I will get any other product, the phone holders just don't fit the Model 3.

If you want to mount your phone horizontally behind the wheel to use the GPS on your iPhone, this is the easiest way. I like it when I have low handlebars so I had to modify the ball mount by gluing it into the mount bushing from the other end with clear epoxy. Now it's the perfect place to watch your phone while driving. You can replace the magnetic mount with a charger, or just plug in a regular Lightning cable for long trips.
