Installed in 2014 Toyota Tacoma with Sony XAV-AX7000 head unit. The quality is exactly what I expected and it has come true! The radio works, so no complaints.

This antenna adapter is perfect for my RAV4 and transmits the radio signal to the aftermarket deck as advertised by the seller. Because the deck was not installed in a standard location, the cable barely reached the back of the deck.

Radio antenna works well, radio stations are clear. However, the setup was a bit confusing as there were no paper instructions on what to do with the blue wire on my Pioneer dmh-1500nex stereo head unit. It turns out that all you need to do is connect the blue wire from the product to the blue connector on the Pioneer amp. Look at the photo, I circled it in yellow.

I ordered this along with a few other parts when installing an aftermarket radio on my Lexus es 350. I got a job at a local Best Buy store and have them write up a quote for all the parts I need. The item received had the same part number but only one antenna output. In my situation (Camry SE 2016) there are two antennas on the factory connector. What is another antenna used for? Also, the blue wire (connected to the booster/antenna activation wire) must be used, otherwise the device will not work. One star deducted for lack of instructions and information on what is lost if the remaining antenna is not used.

Used it to upgrade the radio in my neighbor's 2013 Toyota Tundra. It was connected directly to the factory antenna and connected to the secondary radio. I removed the extra wire in the connector as unnecessary because I don't like hanging extra wires even though it's hidden behind the dash. The reception was clear. I also bought an extra wiring harness to connect the radio to the factory wiring harness and dash bezel to make the installation look factory.

Four stars instead of five because the lack of instructions leaves a newbie guessing, but it's pretty basic. The stereo system has an outgoing power line to power antennas, amplifiers, etc.; and the blue wire on this adapter needs to be connected to it even if your antenna doesn't extend and retract automatically.
