Requires custom Nissan antenna to fit aftermarket head unit

I gotta love that these manufacturers are changing things to make it harder for car owners to go from stock (sub=optimal) radios to true audiophile tunes. The stock antenna is over 60 years old, but no, Nissan should come up with their own. This adapter solves this problem once and for all. A good item, easy to use, has an extra jack if you have FM signal device, such as B. an optional Bluetooth adapter. Good

This Nissan adapter is required for a 2013 Subaru Legacy Premium

Yes I know there is a Nissan antenna adapter but browsing the forums confirmed that this is indeed the one needed for my Subaru adapter is. Worked exactly as expected in my 2013 Subaru Legacy Premium. I don't have a factory satellite radio, navigation or backup camera, and I don't have a Harmon Kardon stereo. I only have the regular Bluetooth radio that comes with the Legacy. There's a certain partnership between the two automakers and it shows here in this suspension. This adapter plugsโ€ฆ

Key product to replace the stock radio in Nissan Frontier King Cab 4x4 '98

The radio only had one antenna hole. This adapter had the two holes I needed so I could keep using the stock antenna. I had to change the latch that secures the antenna connector to the adapter because the clip on the antenna connector did not go through the latch hole on the adapter. I made the locking hole bigger and the antenna fitted. I seem to get the same reception quality with the adapter as without the adapter, so it does the job. I'm not sure what I would do if this adapter wasn't onโ€ฆ

Problematic - Don't forget the blue wire

When I hooked it up to the new Pioneer radio the radio was awful it was almost gone. Thank goodness for other feedback and questions here on Revain. The user referred to the need to connect the blue wire (antenna power) to the wiring harness. This is REQUIRED and is not described anywhere in the documentation for the stereo system, wiring harness or antenna adapter. Why do you need a "power antenna" cable, especially when there is no corresponding cable with such a marking from the new Pioneerโ€ฆ

Simple and effective. Works as advertised.

This adapter just works. Like a charm and without any problems. Note: If the reception is poor, it is most likely the adapter. Nissan Diversity antennas are fed antennas and if you don't connect the fed antenna wires to the seat belts and head unit you will get poor reception. On my wiring harness it was the blue wire and the difference was DAY and NIGHT.

You will probably need this type

I wish there was a package with all the necessary parts for these Nissan radios, usually just a wiring harness and dash is required but depending on the radio model and vehicle this antenna adapter is required to connect an aftermarket head unit, as well as an interface for your factory amplifier. Works as described but you will probably only need half the antenna connections to the second radio leaving the second wire behind the dash for extra ground. Can't complain about the simplicityโ€ฆ
