Metra 44-CR190B Antenna Cable: Perfect Fit for 1995-Up Dodge Ram Truck (Black) Review

I am not very happy with the fit of this antenna. The original antenna base is wedged in such a way that it sits and stays in the fender. This antenna does not have this function. The base of the antenna barely covers the factory hole in the wing. Also, the grommet is smaller than the factory hole in the firewall and will not stay in place.

Waste of time. As others have noted, it's not big enough to fit the factory fender opening. Thought how the hell it could be, but it was. Not the best quality either and all I wanted was to close the hole without using the radio. If anyone has any suggestions as to what would just close the hole, I'm all ears.

Antenna arrived in good condition. I tested the fit on a truck (98 Dodge Ram 1500) and the base was slightly smaller than stock. After playing around with it a bit, I found the perfect spot.
