Looks good. Works well. Exactly as described. This is the second one I've bought. I think the first one was made of better material. This last one I bought doesn't seem like any comparable material. Although it looks and works fine.

This antenna will make a world of difference to your installation! The clamp must be removed to allow the wire to enter the stud during assembly! I also add some silicone on both sides of the antenna rubber gasket! Also, the cable was the perfect length and it was easy to install, works great

I replaced the old school telescopic motorized antenna on my 2002 Acura NSX with this one. Installation was pretty easy and visually it's a big upgrade - it looks a lot more modern! Performance is ok but I don't think it will attract FM stations as well as the old antenna. Most of the time that's enough.

Insert this into the original antenna slot in the sport blazer. Looks better than stock, reception was poor as it was meant to be roof mounted. I made some modifications to the mount and also soldered the wire to the base of the antenna, removed the core and routed the new antenna wire behind the frame and up to the rear roof and the reception is great!

Unfortunately, in 2004 Subaru decided to try windshield antennas and like all other cars, they never worked. This is a great update where I have static FM now I get clear HD channels. You have to drill a 9/16 hole in the roof, truck or fender so you can't do this when you rent your car. But it took less than an hour to put it in, lower the header a bit, and run the cable back to the radio.

Not as good as the previous model, but still works quite well. Quality and durability have greatly decreased. Probably won't last more than three years due to poor construction and quality of plastic used. It's also different in size, so it doesn't work as a direct replacement for the previous model. It's really a shame that the quality of all Metra products has gone down a lot in recent years, but that's to be expected with 99% of all Chinese and/or Asian factories.

Perfect fit for 2000 Miata. The power antenna has been removed, the antenna is connected to the factory cable, no need to route the cable or widen the hole to match the base. I connected the amplifier to the 12 volt ignition power antenna connector and restored normal radio reception. Without an amplifier I had no reception. Connected to a gray wire with a black tracer.
