🔌 Dodge Ram 2002-04 Amp Bypass Harness: Metra 70-6512 - High-performance Solution (NOT Radio Harness) Review

I ordered this for a car that said it would fit but it didn't. I put 3 for design and construction. The downside is the seller and the accuracy of what fits.

Same color wires. looks intimidating but it's easy once you have an idea of what to do. There is tweeter wiring, but most aftermarket head units don't have tweeter wiring.

Has worked great, especially since I first bought the 70-6510 and it was a nightmare after cutting to find out it was the wrong one. If you're confused as to which one to get people will say it depends on how many jacks your amp has, mine has two but that's not true, look at the wiring harness diagram at the top of your factory stereo if you have them all Audio connectors on a wire harness will see wires for them in the wire harness.

Wiring harness is well constructed and long enough to reach anywhere in the truck (03 Ram 1500 Quad). I only needed two legs. The location of the amp is a pain in the neck. Literally. I struggled with this for about an hour to get to the traffic jams. To access it properly, you must first remove the fan assembly. plug and play It connects to the wiring harness closest to the glove box. Make sure it clicks when you join them. First time installing a deck myself. This worked for everything except connecting my tweeters to mains in my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. Accessing the amp requires a lot of work. So apparently there are TWO different 2002-2004 Dodge Ram 1500's with Infinity audio harnesses. One is this product and the other is 70-6510 which actually has 3 connectors. It said if you don't have a phone icon or steering wheel controls then 70-6512 is "for you". I ordered it before disassembling the dashboard to get to the infinity amp which had 2 harnesses attached which already alerted me.
