Metra 70-7301 Radio Wiring Harness for Hyundai and Kia 1999-2008 Review

This worked great on a 2007 XG 350. (Connect the blue/white for the amp!) I can't believe I'm talking about a car stereo setup, but it was smooth and seamless. Wiring and connector quality, marked wires, perfection. I will never install one without Metra again.

Thanks to this wonderful adapter I was able to easily fit a new head unit into my wife's 2007 Hyundai Tiburon which came with an Infinity audio system with 6-CD disc changer and subwoofers. The adapter fitted perfectly with the car's factory wiring, and each adapter's color-coded wire correctly matched my secondary head unit's wire colors. At only $7, this adapter is easy to get. 5 Stars!

Bought this harness to fix the Hyundai ISO<-> connector which just doesn't have the 12 pin - which is responsible for turning on the factory amp. This subway wire harness has it (and even a small piece of paper with a reminder to use this wire / blue and white). I cut off the old connector, replaced it with this one and connected it to the ACC (switchable) Power on the rate - and now everything is fine. My 2din Android device is no longer silent. This is the correct wiring harness for the 2003 Hyundai Sonata LX Tape/Recorder/CD Player. The instructions say to connect the blue/white wire (turn on the amplifier) to the "secondary radio remote output". The cheap radio I bought as the car is over 10 years old didn't have such a socket. This wiring harness is required to install an aftermarket head unit in an Elantra 06. The Metra packaging clearly shows which cables are connected to what. Bought for a 2006 Kia Spectra 5 and used to install an XDM16BT dual media player. A very cheap device that was basically just installed to get Bluetooth and bring the car into the modern world as the standard radio didn't have a BT or Aux input.
