Superior design compared to competitors

Installed in my 2007 Toyota Corolla, it has a superior bezel design compared to other brands. The side panels are extended at a large angle to provide more field of vision and access to controls. Competitors have installed sidewalls almost vertically, which is unacceptable.

Pros
  • One year test period
Cons
  • Negative result available

Get a PACK! - Radio Accessories

That's fine and will work fine, but the PAC version is 100 percent more durable. My wife and I were both amazed at how much stronger the PAC kit was compared to the weak Metra. Sentence. I usually go to Metra for stuff like this, but listen to me everyone, get a PAC! For the same price! I have attached the picture (model number) for the 03-08 version of the crown.

Cheap thin plastic was not suitable for the radio.

Looked good until it tore very slightly down the middle. This is what I would call a class 8 design plastic that doesn't hold up all that much. It also didn't fit my 05 Corolla radio as it was meant to fit over the front of the radio and since it was a bit longer than this product wanted I walked down the street and it broke in half at the top. Still disappointed.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • very expensive

Excellent fit for radio accessories

I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla CE where I replaced the stock head unit with a Pioneer soundboard. This adapter worked well when dropping compatibility for a new device. It took me a while to figure out which screws would work where, but after using the flat head screws that came with the new deck and being close to the front of the stereo I was able to get it working. I would imagine mounting screws are included as a bonus, otherwise you can look for them yourself.

  • Handy item
Cons

Ignore what others say, it fits and is the right size for a two din radio.

I hesitated to buy it because the 1 star review said it was too small. But what the man who yaps about being too small never bothered to look at is the size of a two-din radio. While the radio is 7 by 4, the simple fact is that the radio also has a faceplate that is never 7 by 4, it's always slightly smaller so that if you place it behind the dash insert, it will stick through the hole and A 7 x 4 enclosure behind the front panel fills the gap. Here's how it works. They don't support a 7 x 4…

  • Quality workmanship

The price is worth the time.

The package arrived on time. Three parts received (radio frame and left and right brackets). The bracket is made of plastic without fittings. The bracket mounting holes are slotted to allow for front to back adjustment (1/8" to 1/4" depending on the holes used). A small tilt adjustment (it came in handy in my case). The first time the radio was installed using aftermarket factory brackets (Pioneer 930bt) it stuck out too far causing the instrument bezel to not fit properly. Then I used Metra…

  • A sea of positive emotions

  • The speed of work
