Does not fit early 1990 Miata

Contrary to the advertisement, their website and owner's manual, this does not fit my 1990 Miata. It wasn't a question of modification, rather it was too narrow to fit the hole and the bottom would have had to be modified with a saw to avoid hitting the bottom. Even though it's advertised as an adaptive din 2-shaft, the manual starts off by saying that if you have a din stereo you'll need to buy a different kit. Finally, there are small black and white images in the guide showing the tabs you…

Works, but not without some serious mods.

Although I agree with everyone here that this is complete bullshit. With a lot of time and filling it really works. Once you've built the mount you have to cut it into pieces chop and file it break the tabs and cut off half the plastic I thought rio what a waste of time that was a hole. Eventually, as previously reported, the bottom of the mount didn't fit and a large infill had to be made. An internal penalty has hidden the registry, but if you buy a product, you don't have to make it work…
