Does what it's supposed to. I have installed car radios 4 times and this one was the best. The clips didn't crappy like some I've used and stay in place well.

Item arrived as described. I had to modify it to fit the main Android device (lucky model) I bought, but that was to be expected as the device didn't meet the typical double din standard.

Didn't realize it was for 09+. Needless to say, when I put everything back together, the side panels didn't want to get back up. I shortened it a bit with a dremel and done.

Looks PERFECT. As for the reviews saying the color has changed a bit, it's perfect for my 2013. Mine was in the garage, so maybe the ones that don't match are due to pre-oxidation on other parts of the dash? I do not know. Perfect on mine.

I always use Metra dash kits to install my car stereo and they never disappoint. This fits nicely in my 2013 MX-5 Miata with a Pioneer AVH-4100NEX setup. The only thing to note is that it's a bit lighter in black than the surrounding dashboard, but you have to look at it in the right light and really make it stand out.

I have a 2012 Miata and it is the correct dashboard for this year. I installed it according to the instructions and everything went fine. However, the plastic bezel ring that snaps into place after the stereo is installed in the dash has indentations. The surround ring is not flush with the center console or dashboard. It looks horrible. It's a shame because the Metra kit for 2006-2008 Miatas looks amazing, beautiful and elegant.
