Works as intended, hook up a preamp to kill the hum going to my rear speakers. Having a suburb so 6 speakers and 2 subwoofers must have been too much so this solved my loop problem.

This ground loop isolator is poorly made and actually exacerbates the noise problem. Don't worry about that. Also, I can't return it. all around bad

They're cool because you can reverse the input and output jacks. This eliminates the need for a gender reassignment. The only downside to installation is the fact that the replacement plugs don't have retaining clips. So be careful not to fall apart when you put them in the dashboard. A little CA glue will do :)

Bought based on many positive reviews. This product rejects noise, but the signal loss is excessive and not even remotely acceptable - the sound quality becomes awful once installed. Also, be careful buyers - I've tried to return an item but it's "non-refundable" at Revain. The product is garbage.
