As my tests showed, this product is of poor quality and not worth the price. While the nativity set is aesthetically pleasing, the craftsmanship is clearly lacking. The figures do not stand well and some of the colors are flaking off. The only positive is that the set comes with a sturdy base. Overall, I would not recommend this product.

Although the product was beautiful, it was VERY poorly packaged and arrived in several parts. Luckily my wife thought it was cute and we laughed about it and she just glued the pieces together.

So expensive. Appears to be well made. Three stars only because the characters smell strongly of chemicals. I bought them because they are ceramic and thought they would be safe for my baby. I'm not sure about the smell now. The smell stays on my hand after processing.
